Em Watson is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily with performance and digital media. She graduated from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study in May 2016 with a concentration in Art/Life/Practice: Bodies, Space, and Culture. She is interested in modern concepts of bodies and space and their political implications, and the power of performance to inform and catalyze communities to inspire social change.
She was recently awarded the Longhouse Scholarship Award for her interdisciplinary work in dance, film and photography.
Her work has been featured in the Boston Globe, Artsy, Galore TV, American Theater Magazine and on the cover of the Ballet Review.
